A PAGE FROM THE NOTEBOOK

Privacy, kept simple

Last updated: October 21, 2026

This notice describes the features included in this edition of Wellnote. Your hosting provider may process access logs when serving the website; its policy and the site operator’s arrangements apply to that infrastructure.

Search stays in your browser

Article searches and category filters run in your browser. There is no health assessment form, account, analytics tracker, advertising script, or newsletter collection in this edition. Search terms appear in the page address so the results can be revisited. That address can be retained in browser history, included in a copied link, or received by the hosting provider when you load a search URL. Do not put personal or sensitive health details into the search box.

Your saved reading list

When you bookmark an article, the site stores its article ID in browser local storage under the key “wellnote.saved.v1”. No name, email address, or health profile is required. Saved items stay on that browser and device; they do not sync to an account. Private browsing or clearing site storage may remove them.

Remove a saved article by selecting its bookmark again. To erase the full reading list, clear this website’s data in your browser settings. If storage is unavailable, bookmarks may last only for the current visit.

Links, photos, and third parties

Fonts, scripts, and images are served with the website. Visiting a reference link takes you to another website whose own privacy practices apply. External reference links are configured not to send this page’s address as a referrer.

No medical record service

Wellnote does not collect symptom histories or provide a secure patient messaging service. Do not treat the article library as a medical record. For questions involving health data held by a healthcare provider, contact that provider directly.

Future changes

Adding analytics, advertising, forms, accounts, or other data collection changes the privacy position. The operator must update this notice before enabling those features and provide the appropriate local disclosures and contact information.
